Client Rights and Responsibilities. As a client of Integrative and/or Spiritual Life Coaching, you have privileged communication, much like you would have in traditional psychotherapy or counseling. This means that all information disclosed in our sessions and any recorded or written records of those sessions are held to be confidential and may not be revealed by me to anyone without your written permission, except where disclosure is required by law.

Confidentiality of Email, Telephone and Fax Communication. Email and wireless telephone sessions can be relatively easily accessed by unauthorized people, compromising the privacy and confidentiality of such communication. Emails are especially vulnerable to unauthorized access because they are essentially a digital version of a postcard, and there are many people who can intercept them as they make several hops across computers on Internet servers and email providers. Fax communications are also subject to misdirection or electronic glitches. Therefore, although all your information is considered privileged and confidential, the limitations of communication systems and services can affect that privacy barrier. Under these conditions, Dr. Saunders cannot be held to account for any loss of privacy or privilege due to such interference.

Transpersonal Hypnosis and Past-Life Regression sessions. When you are accepted as a client for either Transpersonal Hypnosis or Past-Life Regression, you agree to one or more face-to-face sessions arranged by appointment within the San Francisco Bay Area.

Rights and Responsibilities of Hypnosis Clients. Upon an agreed contract exchange between client and facilitator, you will be fully informed of the nature and usefulness of hypnosis; aware that the hypnosis/regression sessions are nonmedical, nonpsycho­therapeutic in nature, and that no attempt is made to diagnose, prescribe for, and/or treat any infirmity, psychological dysfunction, or disease; and that no claim of a possible cure will have been made. You will be asked to accept full and complete responsibility for any and every effect, change, or result, either at the time of the hypnosis/regression session or at any time thereafter, resulting from any hypnotic altered state or past-life regression sessions with Dr. Saunders.

Limits of efficacy in Hypnosis and Regression. You are advised to contact your healthcare practitioner, psychotherapist, or appropriate healthcare agency for any changes in medications or alteration of your physical well being. Additionally, you should be fully aware that the purpose of the hypnotherapy and past-life regression sessions are to assist you to uncover or accomplish your stated and agreed upon goals, which you will have clearly stated in a mutual contract between yourself and Dr. Saunders. All sessions are considered to be confidential and private, not for training purposes or exhibition. Each individual client session may be tape recorded and the subsequent cassette tape given to the client. Tapes are for the client’s exclusive use, except where he or she has agreed and signed an appropriate release.
