Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Transpersonal Hypnosis
Who is in control of my thoughts and mind when I am in a hypnotic state? You are always in charge of your body, mind, and spirit when in or out of a hypnotic state. Your thoughts, even at the deepest levels of the subconscious, are your own. Your journey is uniquely yours, and the guide or facilitator is there to help you clarify your experience and make sure your journey is a safe one. If at any time you urgently need to terminate the hypnotic process or state a conflict or contrary thought, you are free to do so. The purpose is always to access your own inner wisdom to determine what your body, mind, or spirit most needs, in order to activate your own process of healing and well being. Why would I choose Hypnosis over Integrative Spiritual Life coaching? Sometimes the client may have a mental or physical block or obstacle that is beyond the typical method of Integrative Spiritual Life Coaching to resolve. Perhaps there is a medical reason or a need to facilitate a difficult psychophysical change in the client’s life, such as augmenting a medical healing, preparing for a difficult surgery, or enhancing a desired change in an addictive behavior such as smoking. When therapy is not a requirement for that client, sometimes hypnosis can more easily facilitate a client’s goal or objective. |
